Over the years, I’ve learned that true healing doesn’t come from protocols alone. It comes from alignment-with nature, the body, the Earth, and our inner truth. In a world saturated with quick fixes and fast-moving technology, I return to principles. Technology is evolving faster than most people can process, and while it can be a valuable tool, it must never override our connection to the human experience.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming part of how we live, work, and even heal. In my own clinical world, I see both the potential and the risks. While AI can enhance systems and streamline care, it also raises a deeper question: how do we remain human, grounded, and soul-aligned in a digitised world? That’s where this month’s blog comes in.
Can AI Replace a Naturopath? Why Real, Personalised Care Still Matters
In the age of artificial intelligence, it’s easy to feel like we should be able to figure out our health ourselves. Upload your test results, type in your symptoms, and get a supplement list in seconds. Easy, right?
But here’s the thing: healing isn’t a formula. You’re not a robot-and your body doesn’t respond to generic advice the way an algorithm assumes it will.
As a naturopath who works with both science and intuition-and yes, I use carefully trained AI in my own clinic-I want to share the truth behind this trend and how I approach health differently.
Why So Many Women Are Turning to AI and Online Advice
Let’s be honest: the current system isn’t working for many of us. Appointments are rushed. Health care feels transactional. You’re told everything’s “fine” even when you feel completely off.
So it makes sense that women are searching elsewhere. AI feels empowering. It gives you answers quickly. It doesn’t dismiss your concerns. And sometimes it gets things mostly right.
But “mostly right” isn’t the same as right for you.
The Rise of DIY Health Tools (and Why They Often Miss the Mark)
More and more clients are coming to me after trying the latest diet trend or following a protocol from an app or AI chatbot. Some have spent a lot of money on direct-to-consumer tests, only to receive automated plans that ignore their stress, sleep issues, or hormone imbalances.
They’re not lazy. They’re not uninformed. They’re trying. But the advice they’re getting isn’t designed for their unique biology-or their lived experience.
AI can’t tell if your symptoms are rooted in trauma. It can’t hear the stress in your voice or see the fatigue in your eyes. It doesn’t know that you’re skipping meals because you’re too tired to cook, or that your skin breakouts started after a major life change.
What it offers is based on data patterns, not human context.
How I Use AI (Responsibly) in My Clinic
I’m not against AI. I use it as a tool-just like I use lab tests, herbal medicine, and functional nutrition. In fact, I’ve trained my own AI assistant to reflect how I work, based on my clinical philosophy and years of experience.
But I always cross-check. I always personalise. And I never outsource care to a machine.
AI is only as good as the information it’s given-and it still can’t replace the critical thinking, nuance, and pattern recognition of an experienced practitioner. It doesn’t know when to pause, when to dig deeper, or when to gently say, “Your body isn’t ready for that step yet.”
That’s where I come in.
My Sacred Health Code
A declaration of values for soul-aligned health, conscious healing, and planetary integrity.
1. I honour the Earth in all that I consume.
I choose products and practices that create minimal harm, use sustainable packaging where possible, and align with the regenerative rhythms of nature. Environmental alignment is foundational to physical healing.
2. I use technology only in service to life.
If it restores harmony, expands awareness, or supports healing without disconnection, I welcome it. If it exploits, overrides, or severs me from nature, I let it go. Conscious tech use is an extension of conscious living.
3. I supplement to restore, not to control.
I support the body’s natural intelligence with targeted, intentional nutrients, but I do not treat the body like a machine. My aim is balance, not performance. I question over-supplementation and always seek the simplest effective path.
4. I choose soul over systems.
I make decisions not based on trends or fear, but on what resonates with my higher self and the natural world. My clinical decisions are filtered through both evidence and intuition.
5. I value presence more than perfection.
I don’t seek to “biohack” my way out of being human. I embrace rest, rhythm, aging, emotion, and intuition as sacred aspects of vitality. Wellness is a lived experience, not a flawless image.
6. I am part of the planetary healing.
Through my work, my example, and my choices, I seed a new model of conscious health and integrated living. Healing ourselves is part of healing the Earth, and the Earth responds to our integrity.
7. I honour food as the foundation but not the full solution.
I teach food as medicine because it reconnects us with nature and power. But I also guide people beyond food toward the deeper healing needed to meet the challenges of our modern world. Herbal medicine, emotional work, and energetic alignment are essential companions.
8. I uphold sovereignty over dependency.
I empower individuals to trust their bodies, question narratives, and co-create their health rather than outsource it. True freedom comes from owning our wellness journey and learning to interpret our own signals.
9. I walk the bridge between science and spirit.
I honour research, testing, and evidence but always return to intuition, energetic coherence, and the wisdom of nature. There is no conflict between science and spirit—only integration.
10. I serve as a vessel for divine remembrance.
Every choice I make, every client I guide, and every formula I create is a step toward reconnecting humanity with Source. Healing is not the goal, wholeness is. This is the higher calling behind my work.
Why This Matters in a Tech-Driven World
As AI becomes more integrated into daily life, from health apps to automated diagnostics, it’s more important than ever to root our wellness practices in timeless values. AI is transforming how we access information, engage with healthcare, and experience personal development. But with this rapid change comes a responsibility to stay anchored.
We are living in an age of hyper-efficiency, where even our healing is expected to be fast and trackable. Yet true healing asks us to slow down, reconnect with intuition, and honour the complexity of who we are. The Sacred Health Code helps me stay true to this path. It ensures that as innovation accelerates, we stay human, heart-led, and guided by integrity.
I’m sharing this now because more and more clients and practitioners are asking how to stay aligned when the world is shifting so quickly. This is my answer. It’s not a protocol, but a philosophy.
How I Work With You: Rooted, Thoughtful, Human
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure who to trust, know this: you don’t need to do it all on your own. And you don’t need to keep guessing.
When we work together, I take the time to understand the full picture:
- Your symptoms, yes-but also your stress, emotions, cycles, and history
- Your test results-but also the patterns they don’t show
- Your goals-but also what your body is trying to protect you from
I cross every T and dot every I. My care is layered, holistic, and science-backed-but never rushed, and never copy-pasted.
Why Real Care Still Matters
In a world full of quick fixes and automated answers, it’s easy to think we should be able to “hack” our way to health. But real healing takes time, trust, and the right support.
AI can be helpful-but it doesn’t care about you. It doesn’t follow up. It doesn’t adapt when your needs shift. It doesn’t hold space for the emotional weight of being unwell.
I do.
